Tip: Use Script Programmer Mode to quickly view the Script Access setting directly on the component in the design schematic without the need to disconnect from the Q-SYS Core processor. Choices include All, External, None (default), and Script. Script Accessĭefines whether the component will be accessible by script and/or externally, or not at all. Q-SYS will automatically check all Code Names in the design to ensure name is unique. You can use the auto-assigned name or customize it. Script Access Properties Code Nameĭisplays the currently assign name for control access. Sets the fill color of the component in the schematic. 0,0 is the upper left corner of the schematic. The Label property defaults to the component name. Use the Label property to change the name of the component in the schematic. Note: If you install an input card in the I/O Frame, and connect an audio source to the card's inputs, you must wire at least one of the outputs of the input card component to something in your design to see the audio source levels on the meters of the input card component. When you attempt to compile the design on the Core, it will display an error message, and will not compile. If, for example, you install one CobraNet card and configure it for 16 input and 16 output channels, you cannot use any other cards with that I/O Frame. The maximum number of channels an I/O Frame can support is 16 input, and 16 output channels. Select the I/O card that is physically installed in each of these slots. User defined name for the Backup I/O Frame. This field displays when Is Redundant is set to Yes. Indicates if the I/O Frame is redundant or not. Indicates that this virtual component can be paired with the same type of hardware without changing the network ID of the hardware or the name of this component. When disabled, and the device is not found on the network, the device is reported as 'Not Present', which is not an error condition. When enabled, and the device is not found on the network, the device is reported as 'Missing', which is an error condition. Select whether the device is connected to redundant networks. User-defined name that groups the component with other components in the same physical location – for example, "Rack 1" – or in the same organizational scheme. Note: This name must match the Hostname for the device as defined in Core Manager or Peripheral Manager. No other symbols, punctuation characters, or blank spaces are permitted. The Name may contain ASCII letters 'a' through 'z' (case-insensitive), the digits '0' through '9', and the hyphen.
